My name is Mike Elek, and I’ve been a journalist since 1985 – for the most part. In my life, I’ve been very fortunate to have lived and worked in many places.
It sometime seems like I’ve been on the move all of my life, and it probably is true. My first big move was when I was a year old. Since then, I’ve moved 21 times – more than most but probably not as many as some.
These days, I’m in New Jersey with my wife, kid and pets. It’s my third time in New Jersey – or the fourth time, depending on whether I count a short three-month stint in 2003.
I like to look at things as “glass half full,” and you should, too.
