1. The first shot – Can you believe it. The first shot, and it's a lamer – of these little Halloween displays. They're still sitting in the front yard, by the way (December). The 50mm Planar. Don't recall anything about aperture, but I remember thinking that I shot it fairly wide open.

2. Left Field – The Left Field entrance of PNC Park – home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. This would be a statue of Willie Stargell, probably from 1979. Anyway, by the time I got Downtown, the light was fading. And by the time I got out of the car, it was nearly gone. So everything was handheld from 1/8 to 1/15 of a second. 25mm Biogon.

3. Sixth Street Bridge – First, with the 25mm Biogon. I think I was leaning against a light pole to steady myself. Probably at 1/8 second and probably wide open.

4. Sixth Street Bridge – Again, with the 50mm Planar. Notice the out-of-focus guardrail? Apparently, I didn't when I shot this. Again, probably about 1/8 second and maybe f/2 or f/2.8.

5. Allegheny River and Downtown – This is a slightly cropped version with the 25mm Biogon. There was more of the bridge support in the left side, but because it's night, it was a big black area. I think this was at f/4.0, 1/2 second, because I had the camera resting on a big cement wall.

6. Georgia and the horse – This shot seems soft, but only in the scan. So, once again, it's a scanner issue. Darn. 25mm Biogon.

7. Up the hill – The 25mm Biogon handled this pretty well. I knew there was a lot of strong light coming from the left. I think I dialed in +1 stop compensation. The extra blue in the sky is a scanner issue (once again).

8. Tire and shadow – 50mm Planar. No comments.

9. Stable door – 25mm Biogon. No comments.
