Kennywood gang
IN THE SUMMER OF 1984, I worked with a great gang of guys at the games warehouse of Kennywood Park, an amusement park near Pittsburgh. At first, we couldn't stand each other, but within a few weeks we were inseparable. We spent the summer working hard during the day and staying out all night – except for the older man Frank, who would  follow us to the bar once in a while and then get in a heap of trouble with his wife. Jim, on the left, ran the show, while Tim and Rich kept me in stitches. In the fall, I entered my senior year at college, and then we began to drift apart. It was sad but inevitable. But that summer was magical – we set the standard for others to follow. Nikon FE, 50mm lens, Kodak Pan-X 32.
