A SUMMER storm had just ended when I looked out the back window of our house. The clouds broke for a moment, and a rainbow appeared. I grabbed my camera and popped off a couple of shots before the clouds closed up and the rainbow disappeared. Later, I discovered I still had a soft-focus filter on the lens. Combined with shooting through a window screen, which you can see, the photo had a soft glow. Nikon FE, 50mm lens, Kodachrome 64. I don't see rainbows anymore. Or maybe we just get too busy with life to notice.
