MORE THAN TWENTY years later, I can't remember how my roommate Paul Asay and I ended up in this spot. It was part of a tour to Switzerland that we took, and in this Lucerne (many thanks to Christian Gfeller for helping me with this information) there is a covered bridge, which is from where I took this photo.
