Everything was taken with the Rollei f/2.8 40mm Sonnar with a B+W dark red filter. I rated the film at ISO 200. With the red filter, it works out to be about ISO 25.

1. Frosty weeds – What frost? Well, it was there when I took the photos. I guess that frost doesn't render too well with infrared film. I was thinking when I shot this that a nice color film would have worked better.

2. Parking lot trees – If I recall, I stopped down to about f/8.

3. Liberty Avenue – The guy on the right seemed very concerned that I was taking photos. Maybe he thought I was photographing him.

4. Bike near PPG Plaza – The Sonnar is a very nice lens. I continue to be impressed with it.

5. Statues – Part of an outdoor exhibit.

6. Gateway Center sidewalk – I sort of like the interrupted reflections.

7. Market Square – I had a long rant about how this tiny area represents the worst of Pittsburgh. How it turns into a hellhole of urban decay after 4 p.m. But I'll just drop it. NRM was National Record Mart, a local record store chain. It went under.

8. St. Mary's Church, Stanwix Street – I was very pleased with the interplay of light on the building.
