1. Holly branch – Some out-of-focus blue thing on the left. I
suspect the reason it's blue is because of a scanning issue and my numerous
attempts at color correction. 50mm Planar, f/5.6-f/8.
2. Basketball hoop – Nice detail in the fabric of the hoop. 50mm
Planar, f/8-f/11.
3. Three pears – Shot this wide open or close to it as the light
wasn't too good in the back yard. Hand held. 50mm Planar, f/2.0-f/2.8.
4. Tire swing – This is my standard test subject. Very sharp in
the foreground. 50mm Planar, f/2.8, I think.
5. Fire hydrant – This was only about four feet away. The 25mm
Biogon makes it seem farther. 25mm Biogon, f/4.0-f/5.6.
6. Watch Children – Some ugly flare in this shot. The sun was to
my left and up at the top of the hill. Actually, you can sort of see where
it was – maybe at 10 o'clock. Must have struck the lens at just the
right angle. I was using the hood. 25mm Biogon, f/5.6
7. Forestwood Drive – I used a hyperfocal setting on this. I think
this was shot at f/5.6. Light was beginning to fade a bit. The nearest point
to the camera is out of focus – beyond the hyperfocal near distance. 25mm Biogon,
f/5.6
8. Rusty fence pole – This shot might convince me to get the
viewfinder. The rusty pole and telephone pole really are straight, but the
camera wasn't held level. I might have noticed in an auxiliary viewfinder.
Then again, maybe I wouldn't. The focus point was the pole. 25mm Biogon,
f/2.8. |
