1. Snow on the sidewalk – Shot with the 25mm Biogon. Thought I was
using the 50mm Planar.
2. Welcome – Again, the 25mm Biogon when I thought it was the
Planar. It was really cold, and you can see that I didn't venture too far
from the house ... roughly three steps.
3. Top of the post – Shooting with the 50mm Planar at f/4.0. Very
sharp.
4. Fence and snow – This photo actually does nothing for me.
Again, 50mm Planar at f/4.0.
5.-6. Trailer, rust and broken glass – This is two takes on the
same subject with the 50mm Planar. Don't recall the aperture – probably
about f/2.8 or so.
7. Telephone pole – Shot at f/2.0 with the 50mm Planar. Very
sharp!
8. Snow and log – 50mm Planar at f/2.0.
9. Tin roof and icicles – With this shot, I dialed in +1 1/3 stop
exposure compensation to try to keep the underside of the roof from blocking
up.
10. Wary – As you can see, the horses aren't big on cameras. And
even though I tried to shoot quickly, the horse still shied away. 50mm
Planar, probably f/2.8.
11. Picket fence – Another uninspiring shot. 50mm Planar, f/2.8.
12. Winnie – I think I was shooting at f/8 with the 50mm Planar,
because I knew this horse was going to back away. Sure enough, she did.
Luckily, the depth of field of the lens was sufficient to keep her sharp.
