The one shortcoming in my scanning is the ability to keep the negative flat. I believe that there is some curl to the negatives, which is leading to some scans not being as sharp as they should be. I'm investigating an alternative. Buying a dedicate film scanner at this time isn't in the cards. I believe I'll need to develop a glass holder or simply allow enough time for the negatives to flatten on their own.
